With a quarter-century of experience, our team, led by June understands the unique needs and behavior of various bird species and types. Your bird will be in knowledgeable and loving hands. For example birds need time to settle in to their new surroundings, and we can usually tell from their behavior when they feel comfortable. It's also important to assess how they interact with people and other birds. For example we usually keep birds seperate from other birds and supervise them when out of their cage to avoid any mishaps. There are numerous examples, and you can be assured your bird is in good hands and enjoy your time away.

Ideal Living Conditions and Environment
Located at Tamborine we have adapted an area connected to the house to become a purpose built room for boarding our clients favourite friends, and have been running that since 2017. Our facility is equipped with suitable cages tailored to the specific needs of different birds.

Stimulation

We find that most birds not only enjoy their stay but often a not to keen to leave-because they enjoy the stimulation from being around other birds. We often have babies being hand reared, and a few of our own birds nearby, so theres never a dull moment. We can also provide foraging toys at no extra cost, but usually find this is not necessary for boarding for short periods of a few weeks or less.

Your bird can come out of their cage for play time and for a fly around. We have an area with a stand and toys for them to enjoy.​

Coming Soon- We are planning an out door play area, where your pet can go into outside during the day, which will provide plenty of space and variety for stimulation​

 

Hygiene

We prioritise cleanliness and maintain a quiet, safe environment to ensure your bird's comfort and well-being. 

Optimal Environment
We provide plenty of sunlight, along with appropriate heating and cooling systems to create a stable and healthy environment for your bird. Our facility is designed to mimic their natural habitat as closely as possible.

 

Security
We have a wired security system, and there is usually someone on premises most of the time.

Nutritious Diet
A great diet is crucial for your bird's health. We offer a well-balanced and nutritious diet, tailored to the specific needs of each bird species, ensuring they remain healthy and happy during their stay. ​​Included is quality diet including all fruit and vegetables, pellet, seed, sprouts, nuts, and treats. Fresh water daily or twice if necessary.

Personalized Service

We offer friendly professional personalised service in a small facility (we only accept up to 10 birds at any one time).

Competitive Pricing

With an executive styled purpose built facility we offer competitive daily rates with discounted longer term bookings. The charge is a little extra for short term boarders as we supply a cage for your bird, and they require pressure cleaning and sanitising after each use including toys and perches, drying, and preparing again for boarding.
